After the battle
After Grandmenil was in American hands, Manhay was bombarded with artillery and aircrafts.
The result was a victory for the Americans on December 27, 1944.
At 04.00 the 517th parachute regiment of the 82th attacked Manhay.
There were 10 deaths on the American side and 14 wounded.
Das Reich pulled back to Baraque de Fraiture.
At the same time the Germans attacked Sadzot . It was the latest attempt by the Germans to get a grip on the Batlle of the Bulge.
