About me:
I'm Bob Konings, born in 1970 and have thus “missed” the whole Battle of the Bulge.
My interest in the Second World War has always been huge. In particular, the Battle of the Bulge has always been my favorite. In 2007 I visited with my family the landing beaches in Normandy.
On June 29, 2008 I moved with my family to Grandmenil and actually ended up on a historic site, which is hard fought. For more then a year I searched the Internet for information about this region. In february 2009 I finally mailed to Eddy Monfort, thé authority on the Bulge and specifically this region. Eddy has helped me good, especially with the photos.
In everyday life I run a bed and breakfast "Bo Temps" and run also our business in advice and counseling.
In my spare time I read books about the Bulge, visit museums, monuments and cross the woods, looking for battletraces of around Grandmenil.
